So what are these ads on the site? Yes, they are affiliate ads. I get a tiny commission if someone goes to these sites and buys the products there.
The reason I have them on the site is:
Obviously I hope to make a few small dollars off them.
They are all of products that I myself use or have used and I think they are a good value to the consumer.
The one for Website Magazine has a free subscription level, which is what I have myself. It’s a good magazine and they even mail you the hard copy free also. It’s all about Web Design, Tech, Servers and other technologies having to do with the web.
BTW, when I signed up for Freshbooks, I first went to a site called Freelancers Union, registered and snagged a coupon for Freshbooks that has saved me money every month since I started with them. The coupon has changed to a flat $25 discount, but still worth the quick signup at Freelancers Union.
